Architectural Draftsperson

Job Description

The Architectural Draftsperson prepares detailed technical drawings and documentation used throughout the construction process. Working under the direction of architects and engineers, this role translates design concepts into accurate plans and blueprints that meet structural and regulatory standards. The draftsperson must be proficient with CAD and BIM software, ensure compliance with codes and specifications, and coordinate drawing revisions as the project evolves.

Job Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D/3D drawings using CAD software.
Revise drawings based on feedback from architects or engineers.
Ensure drawings comply with regulations and standards.
Maintain drawing records and documentation.
Coordinate with construction teams for implementation.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
Knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
